Studio #963 faces South and views the ocean out to the island of Lanai, 9 miles away. Relax on our large lanai and enjoy an absolutely awesome, 9th floor view: It sweeps from the West Maui Mountains on the left, over the lush green Kaanapali golf course dotted with palm trees (Holes 1, 18, and the pond between them), Whalers Village shopping center below and the Maui Westin Hotel in the distance; spanning to the right are swaying palm trees along golden Kaanapali Beach, and the sparkling Pacific, with the isle of Lanai dominating the background. Everybody loves the sunrises over the mountains on the left and spectacular sunsets over Lanai on the right, lighting the skies with brilliant oranges, pinks, and purples.
We kid you not: This view is fabulous and we receive compliments from innumerable guests crowing over the room and the view, let alone their overall enjoyment of Maui. Oh, and did we mention the relaxing music which wafts up from the Hula Grill restaurant just below, serenading you every evening from about 6-9 PM? The musicians are all local, usually different small groups, and sometimes play Hawaiian music!
